The global box office receipts keep rolling in as 'Kalki 2898 AD,' Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's world-shattering dystopian sci-fi extravaganza, continues to set new records. According to film business office analyst Ramesh Bala, the Nag Ashwin directed project has struck a super solid Rs 70 crore on its day five and managed brilliantly over first monday at overseas box-office with account of nearly RS 625 crore. The film is now set to hit the Rs 1000 crore mark this week
Domestic Box Office Collection of Kalki 2898 AD The film saw a heavy downfall in collections on Monday. First day, the film raked in Rs 95.3 crore followed byRs 59.3 crore of second day collection and earned`s66.2 crores on third-day collection which totals to `88`crore by fourth-day totallingto a whopping sum of`309cre both for its weekend business!!! But on Monday, collections took a beating with the film only managing Rs 34.6 crore net so far - this adds up to about Rs 343.
The Hindi version itself has taken an around with Rs 130 crore for five days. Kalki 2898 AD PlotSet in the year 2898 AD, Kalki 2989 follows a bounty hunter trying to make a name for themselves in the luxurious life of The Complex. Apart from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan Kamal Haasan in key roles as well. The Rs 600 crore film released in six languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on June 27. Kalki 2898 AD is absolutely kicking ass at the box office, and it's soon to surpass a 1000 crore mark -- furthering its position as one of the highest-grosser ever in Indian Cinema.
